  • Jan 17 There is no boys basketball practice today.
  • Jan 15 There will be “C” games vs. Centerville starting at 4:00pm on Thursday. JV games will be at 5:00pm followed by varsity girls and varsity boys.
  • Jan 14 Since Burke is Hutch’s hometown, we would like everyone to wear orange tonight to support Hutch. Fight Like Hutch!!
  • Jan 13 After prom is looking for people to work concessions on Thursday for the JV, Girls and Boys varsity games. Please help out if you can.
  • Jan 13 If you are coming to the C and JV games in Harrisburg tonight. Enter through the main entrance and the games will be played in the auxiliary gym.
  • Jan 09 Due to sickness and injuries there will be no JV girls game tomorrow. Schedule will be 5:00-JV Boys, 6:15-Var Girls, 7:45-Var Boys in Gayville's main gym.
  • Jan 05 There will be "C" games at Freeman on Tuesday starting at 4:00. Bus will leave at 2:45. On Friday in Gayville, the JV Girls game will only be 2 quarters starting at 5:00.
  • Jan 01 There will be "C" games vs. Hanson on Friday starting at 4:00.
  • Dec 30 Due to the potential for bad weather tonight, the games are postponed until tomorrow at noon. Both JV games will start at noon vs. Avon. Girls varsity at 1:15 or so and Varsity boys to follow.
  • Dec 21 The basketball games today are at Dakota Christian not Lake Andes. They begin at 2:00pm with JV girls. Thank you.
  • Dec 20 Please remember proper protocol for kids at BB games. Kids should be seated with parents or in the student section. The court is off limits unless participating in a school sponsored activity.
  • Dec 18 Winter Moratorium will be December 22-26th. There is to be nobody in the gym, weight room or school during this time. Thank you and Have a Merry Christmas!

  • Nov 26 There will be an early dismissal on Wednesday. JH/HS will be dismissed at 1:30 and the elementary at 1:45. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

  • Nov 02 The HS football and volleyball players are invited to eat hamburgers tomorrow night(Sunday)at 6:00 at the school.
  • Oct 29 FCCLA is hosting a junior high dance this Saturday, Nov 2nd from 7 to 9pm. Cost is $5 per person. Food and drinks will be provided.
  • Oct 24 There will be a send off for the football team at 4pm. Bus will leave from behind the gym.
  • Oct 21 Financial aid night for parents has been moved to October 28th at 6pm.

  • Oct 15 Football Team plays Colome Friday at 7:00. XC runs @ regions in Arlington on Wednesday at 12:00. VB plays at Alcester tonight starting at 4 and Marty on Thursday at 6:15.
  • Oct 15 Parent/Teacher conferences are October 25th and 28th, not the 21st as previously scheduled.
  • Oct 14 No football practice today.
  • Oct 11 Senior night will be conducted before the game tonight. We need all parents in front of the grandstand by 6:45. Players, cheerleaders, stats, etc. Also, the JHFB team will play at 4:00 and tailgate at 5:00.
  • Oct 10 IW After Prom is hosting a Tailgate supper this Friday night at the football game from 5-7pm. Hotdogs and Dick’s Brats will be served.
  • Oct 07 FCCLA is hosting Trunk or Treat again this year on Oct 26th. We are looking for individuals or businesses to participate. If interested in decorating a vehicle and handing out treats, please contact Mrs. Metheny.

  • Sep 26 The JHFB game vs. FFAM scheduled for Monday October 14th has been moved to Friday October 11th at 4PM before the home varsity game with Freeman/Freeman Academy/Marion.

    An update on Mr. Hutchison. He is in the hospital in Omaha. He is septic, intubated and on dialysis. The doctor is not giving the family good news. Lots of prayers for him and his family are needed.
